India's e-commerce market is unlike anywhere else in the world: complex tax rules, unique compliance requirements, and a diverse merchant base that ranges from first-time entrepreneurs to large distributors. Yet most Shopify apps are built for a Western audience, leaving Indian merchants to patch things together themselves.

Warp Studio was born out of that frustration. We believe Indian merchants deserve software that actually understands their reality, GST, GSTIN, HSN codes, inter-state taxes, and all. Not as an afterthought, but as the entire point.
India has over 150,000 Shopify merchants and the number is growing fast. But GST compliance, introduced in 2017 remains one of the most common pain points for store owners. Manual invoicing, spreadsheet reconciliation, and CA fees eat into margins that are already thin.
We saw a clear gap: no one was building a truly great GST invoicing experience for Shopify India. So we built it ourselves. And we're just getting started.
